Structure-performance relationships in aqueous Na ion batteries

Students will identify the chemical mechanisms underpinning performance degradation in high voltage aqueous Na ion batteries. Specific projects include understanding structural transformations in electrode materials as well as interfacial phenomena between water-in-salt electrolytes and electrodes.
