A summer research position is available under the guidance of Prof. Katherine Reuther in the Department of Biomedical Engineering. The global objective of the research is to develop strategies to improve clinical outcomes following shoulder injury and following surgical and non-surgical treatments for shoulder injury. The project may include basic science and clinical research. The student will participate in data collection and analysis for an ongoing clinical study designed to understand the mechanical mechanisms of shoulder injury and repair. Experience with Matlab, Python, and Image Analysis is preferred.
