Research OverSEAS - ICAP Summer 2023

This Summer 2023, Columbia Engineering and the Mailman School of Public Health are hosting SummerOverSEAS - a program focused on women's public health.  This is a funded research opportunity where students can conduct research abroad or locally.

Eligibility

  • Engineering BS Students

  • Engineering MS Students​

  • Barnard Pathways (4+1) Students

Program Overview

  • Engineering BS and MS students are placed in one of ICAP’s global health internships or submit a design to solve a public health challenge​

  • Collaborate with graduate students from the Mailman School of Public Health at ICAP-supported sites

  • Engage in a one-week Public Health boot camp prior to engagement

  • Mentored by SEAS faculty ​member(s)

  • Stipends provided
