Optical coherence tomography (OCT), a non-invasive imaging modality that provides depth-resolved, micron-level-resolution images in real-time, has the capability to resolve the microstructure of substrates and great potential to provide the needed guidance. Students will work on developing image processing algorithms to register OCT volumes to MRI images of the left atrium. Students will utilize Matlab, Amira, and Blender software packages.
