The water-energy-environment group offers opportunities for extensive research experience. Undergraduates will be involved in all aspect of research: from literature review to hands-on in the lab to data analysis to research communication. Students will initially work with senior researchers but progressively gain ownership of their own projects. The objective of the research project is to study a novel ceramic-based thin-film membrane for water purification and desalination. Student researcher will be involved in fabricating the metal oxide thin-film and and performing experiments to characterize the transport properties. Students committed to research are encouraged to apply.
