Niobouim oxide as a promoter for catalytic pollution abatement

Previous research performed by MS students in my group have reported (and published) data on catalytic activity improvements for copper and cobalt and when supported on niobium oxide for pollution abatement. Quite recently a visiting scholar (returned to her country( in my group has expanded the list to include manganese oxide strongly promoted by niobium oxide. Summer research will focus on parametric studies using the element managanese for advanced aging studies to verify its activity and stability for possible commercial applications.
