We are conducting research on the Internet of Things (IoT), sensors and actuators that interact with the physical world, from measuring pollution to connecting medical devices. Our research tries to answer questions such as: How do you automatically and securely integrate new devices to the network? How can you prevent such devices from launching attacks? How can consumers know what information are sharing with the cloud? How do we name such devices and create maintainable programs that continue to work even when devices are replaced?
