In this project, we are investigating the molecular changes and genetic basis that underlie the response of cells to stress-inducing exposures. The student will work closely with the Chemical Genomics Laboratory research staff. The projects will focus on the single-cell genomic analysis of cells exposed to cytotoxic and genotoxic stressors. The student will work on multiple aspects of the project, including cell culture, genetic perturbation, treatment, harvesting, and processing for single-cell RNA-seq analysis. The student may also focus on the processing of single-cell RNA-seq data. Students will be expected to present the results at the end of the summer.
