Contact sensor for blood flow monitoring

We are working in a collaboration which is developing a wearable garment that measures the optical signal of the wearer to monitor healing following surgery. The project is the development of a small circuit board which will carry a microcontroller and drive the light source and photodetector to measure this surface reflectivity. This project primarily requires board design and serial communication.
