Carbon dioxide capture and the conversion to fuel

We are sorry, this position has been filled.

We have developed a dual functional material containing a supported alkaline adsorbent and catalyst that captures carbon dioxide (CO2) from a power plant flue gas and converts it to synthetic natural gas (CH4). The summer researcher will investigate new materials with high CO2 capture capacity for further improvement. The work includes material preparation and testing.
