Adhesive solutions for rotator cuff repair

The student will assist a postdoctoral fellow in my laboratory to prepare a novel set of adhesives inspired by mussel attachment chemistry. The efficacy of the adhesives will be evaluated using shear lag mechanical tests of idealized tendon-bone adhered planks as well as clinically relevant rotator cuff repairs in cadavers.
